Institutional Identity & Mission

Protecting Intellectual Property with Rigor and Complete Transparency

Registra UP was founded in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, to transform how Brazilian and international businesses secure trademarks, patents, and software with the INPI and WIPO.

Our Heritage and Purpose

Founded by entrepreneur and intellectual property strategist Ibán López, Registra UP emerged in response to the historical shortcomings of the Brazilian industrial property sector. For decades, traditional law firms and registration agents relied on opaque billing, unpredictable recurring maintenance fees, and slow, bureaucratic communication.

We replaced this antiquated approach with engineering-grade predictability: a free and rigorous preliminary clearance search delivered within 24 hours, fixed upfront legal fees, automated tracking of the INPI Official Gazette (RPI), and real-time updates via WhatsApp.

The 4 Pillars of Registra UP

1

Deep Clearance Rigor

We audit phonetic, visual, and conceptual similarities across all 45 Nice classes before filing, preventing rejection risks.

2

Fixed Transparent Fees

Predictable pricing without endless retainers. Official government fees (GRUs) passed directly at cost with full statutory discounts.

3

Weekly RPI Vigilance

Continuous surveillance of every Tuesday publication by the Brazilian PTO to detect conflicting attempts within legal response windows.

4

Strategic Ecosystem

Synergy with Strategy by Registra UP (advisory) and Launch by Registra UP (AI & process automation) for complete business maturity.
